The Playlist

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Tegan & Jordan’s wedding. We first met some months ago to begin the process of choosing the music for five hours of celebrations.

Creating the playlist to ensure every song was in the right place at the right time was a special insight into their musical tastes and lives.

First Song

The first song can be difficult for some couples to narrow down, but for Tegan and Jordan there was a clear winner with the very sweet If I Didn’t Have You by Billy Crystal & John Goodman.

This song is featured as the credits song for the Monsters, Inc. movie and is full of joy. Whilst the newly weds danced the love in the room for this couple was palpable.

Evening Celebrations

After the first dance, Ian carried on with the a set full of slow dances for a while longer so others could join in too.

After that Ian moved into soul classics from the likes of Motown and leading through the decades to more modern music and dance anthems before ending the evening with slow dances for the romantics amongst the guests.
